Predawn light on a Brevard County Beach; To me, there is nothing more special than being on the beach at first light. You have solitude, the sound of the waves, the salt air, and a beautiful glow on the horizon. For this shot, I used 100 speed Kodak Ektachrome slide film, a tripod, and a 70-200mm lens set at 70 mm and an aperature of f22. An exposure of about 3 seconds allowed me to not only capture the light, but render the surface of the water with a ghostly texture. Return to Gallery |
